CAMP Yoga is transformative and liberating. A studio to practice, play, and dial in to your movement and breath. No matter your style or preference, there’s a class for everyone. Our highly-qualified instructors deliver a program grown out of traditional asana with space for exploration and evolution. Our classes ensure campers stay rooted in their bodies and present in the moment. Get ready to connect with yourself and others, strengthen your body, and heal your soul.
Some like it hot, some like it not.
Our heated classes, set at approximately 88-92 degrees Fahrenheit, relax tight muscles, allowing you to safely go deeper into the poses and work out the kinks caused by the stress of daily life. The temperature promotes circulatory health and helps the body rid itself of toxins through sweat. It elevates your core temperature, causing you to burn more in your practice. And you all look damn hot when you’re sweaty. Not that we’re looking.
But hey, we live in Tampa + Los Angeles, and heat is not in short supply. If you’re not into that front row campfire feeling, our reduced heated classes aren’t quite as toasty. See below for approximate temperatures.
CLASS DESCRIPTIONS
ROOT
A foundational asana class with space for deeper understanding of the practice. This breath-based class has no music to distract you from really dropping in. Through longer holds you will cultivate a new level of strength and focus to guide you inwards and stay present in the moment. If you want to get back to the basics of yoga, this is a great (although not easy) place to be. But there’s nothing basic about you, Biiii....ig shot.
FLOW
Flow is for all the yogis in the house - an all-level practice with intentional movement and breath. CAMP Flow is a mindful patterning of postures that builds heat quickly and leaves you feeling centered. Expect music, play and lots of sweat. Show up, flow up, and glow up.
SPACE CAMP
For those interested in testing their relationship with gravity, self, & soul, this class is powered by the most sustainable rocket fuel of all! Sequencing that feels like a mind melting ride through innovative inversions with emphasis on postural precision and energetic alignment. No doubt this class will leave your feeling lighter and able to move more freely, confidently, and inquisitively through life. Ignition!
RESTORE
This recovery based practice includes longer held stretches and guided breathwork to help recover your muscles and calm your nervous system. CAMP Restore utilizes props and sound bowls to keep you grounded and promote a deeper sense of relaxation. Think Yin with a little CAMP flare. Think less of a workout and more of a work-in.
HIP HOP FLOW
Hip Hop Flow is as smooth as Kendrick’s, as hot as Megan’s, and as full of soul as Missy’s. And if these names mean nothing to you, it’s probably a good time to mention a parental advisory for explicit lyrics. Warning: language disclaimer.
EXPRESS
30 minutes of the Flow you know and love. This class combines intentional movement and breath to build heat quickly, leaving you feeling centered and energized. Come for the sweat, stay for the glow — you’re in, out, and on your way!
POWER FLOW & CHILL
The best of both worlds. Expect to build heat quickly through a thoughtful patterning of postures then slow things down as you shift into a series of chill, restorative postures. Power Flow and Chill just go together. Like peanut butter and jelly. Like snow and somewhere else. Like YOU and CAMP.
BREATH + SOUND
Begin with active breathwork to quiet the mind and root you into your body. As you settle into a deeper state, pay attention, and listen to the resonant sound from overtone-emitting instruments (including the gong). Designed to regulate the nervous system, develop resilience, and reset for what’s next. You’ll leave this practice feeling attuned to yourself and the present moment.
YOGA MAT
There’s never a danger of being the kid with the oldest mat at CAMP, because we have all-rubber recyclable Manduka mats for rent. Good for the environment, good for your body and good for your bank account.
MAT TOWEL
No one wants to slide from a downward facing dog into a flat dog. That’s why we have super-absorbent, freshly-laundered mat towels for rent in Tampa. (They're also very snuggly, in case you decide to take a nap during savasana.)
TOWELS
You’re gonna sweat (a lot). We’ve got you covered. Literally. Fresh, clean towels provided to all CAMPers. (Towels enhanced with anti-snapping technology to prevent unpleasant locker room flashbacks.)
WATER
Like we just said, you’re going to sweat (see the towel stuff). With so much water going out, you'll need to get it back in. Bring your own bottle and fill it with our filtered-water (only the best for our CAMPers), or buy bottled water at the CAMP general store.
LOCKERS
No need to hide your stuff under your bunk. Just stash your prized possessions in our combination lockers before class and don’t worry about a thing. Except, of course, remembering the combination.
SHOWERS
No one wants to leave CAMP, but when you do, you’ll leave smelling like a Spring day. We’ve got five showers onsite, as well as a full inventory of bath and body products. There will be no signs of your intense workout. Red Rover, Red Rover, send hottie right over!.
TUNES
Classes at CAMP are musically-driven, and authentic to each instructor. Explicit music may be used depending on the class but we’re all adults here so keep calm and CAMP on!
